La Puya started in 2020 with the idea that the home barista and café aficionado should have easy access to high-quality beans grown by the finest farms in Puerto Rico and around the world.

In 2024, we opened our coffee shop — a cozy sanctuary where friends, family, and strangers alike can come together to share a cup of local coffee and homemade goodies. Our shop is inspired by our hometown of Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico.

La Puya is much more than “just a cup of coffee”; it’s a whole ritual. Whether you’re here for a bold espresso to start the day or a smooth afternoon pick-me-up, we invite you to experience un café bien duro.
